How to get to the hotel
There are three airports in Milan. Malpensa Airport is the main hub for long-haul flights and is about 50 km northwest of the city; From there, the Malpensa Express train runs to the Milano Cadorna station and to the Central Station. Linate Airport is the closest to the city; it is about 8 km to the east, which is about a 20-minute taxi ride. Bergamo Orio al Serio, the trip by intercity bus takes about an hour. It’s a short walk from From Garibaldi FS to the hotel.

Skyscrapers, shopping and Corso Como
How about taking a stroll through Gaetano Aulenti Square, located just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, to soak up the atmosphere of the neighbourhood? The UniCredit Tower rises above the fountain in the square. Stop by the boutiques along Corso Como and enjoy a coffee on the terrace of one of the cafés. In the evening, during aperitivo time, take a stroll down Via Garibaldi and have dinner at one of the restaurants on Corso Como, where you can mingle with members of Milan’s design scene.
Brera galleries and old Milan
Take a walk south to the Pinacoteca di Brera and spend the morning surrounded by works by Raphael, Caravaggio, and Mantegna. Stroll through the narrow streets of the Brera district, pop into some antique shops, and then find a trattoria where you can enjoy a cozy lunch. Then continue on toward Milan Cathedral and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, take a few souvenir photos at Milan’s most famous landmarks, and hop on a tram at Garibaldi Station to head back.
Parco Sempione and Monumentale
Let’s start your walk with the sculpture-adorned graves and tombstones of the Monumental Cemetery (Cimitero Monumentale), located just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. It’s one of the city’s most impressive open-air sites. From there, you’ll head to Sempione Park and take a leisurely stroll past Sforza Castle and the Arch of Peace. In the late afternoon, you can relax with a swim in the hotel’s indoor pool, followed by dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.
Fashion streets and a last espresso
On your last morning, you had a walk through the “Quadrilatero della Moda” ahead of you. This is the area around Via Montenapoleone, where leading Italian brands have opened their flagship stores. Even just admiring the store windows makes the walk there more than worth it. Take a short detour to the Giardini Indro Montanelli, treat yourself to a peaceful break in the shade of the plane trees, and then head back to the hotel to pick up your luggage, and enjoy one last espresso at the bar before catching the train or shuttle bus.

How many days do you need in Milan?
As noted in your reservation, three nights is the perfect amount of time to get to know Milan. You’ll have plenty of time to visit the cathedral and the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, spend a leisurely morning at the Brera Art Museum, stroll along Corso Como and through the skyscraper district, and enjoy a peaceful afternoon in Sempione Park. If you’d like to take a day trip to Lake Como or shop at the outlet malls, the hotel recommends booking one more night.
What is the cheapest month to visit Milan?
Since locals head to the coast in August and the number of business trips drops, hotel rates in Milan are generally at their lowest during this time. Also, in January and early February—when neither Fashion Week nor the furniture fair is taking place—prices offer excellent value for money. It’s best to avoid Fashion Week (February and September), when prices spike, as well as the Salone del Mobile in April.
