How to get to the hotel
Tenerife South Airport (TFS) is about a 20-minute drive from the TF-1 highway and is therefore the closest arrival point. You can book a shuttle service when making your reservation. Tenerife North Airport (TFN) is about an hour’s drive away and is particularly suitable for travellers arriving from mainland Spain. Since there is no rail network on the island, you’ll need to get around by rental car, taxi, or TITSA buses.

Arrival and a first look at the coast
You took a shuttle from Tenerife South Airport and checked into your suite. After unpacking your suitcases at your leisure, you went for a walk to Playa de la Enramada and walked on black volcanic sand for the first time. Back at the hotel, you can take a leisurely swim or let the kids splash around in the kids’ pool. End the day on the balcony, watching the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean, and then enjoy a relaxed dinner at the “La Caleta” restaurant.
Playa La Caleta and the fishing village
If you walk south along the waterfront, you’ll reach Playa la Caleta—a small cove with a pebble and sandy beach, lined with numerous seafood restaurants. Spend the morning swimming or reading, and take a break for lunch at one of the restaurants with a terrace overlooking the harbour. In the afternoon, walk back along the coastal path and cool off with a dip in the pool. When the light is right, it’s worth watching the sunset over the island of La Gomera from the beach.
Diving and snorkelling day
Book a snorkeling or diving excursion through the hotel and head out to the coral reefs off the coast of Costa Adeje. There, you might spot butterflyfish, stingrays, and sometimes even sea turtles. Return to the hotel, take a shower by the pool, and let your tired feet relax in the sauna or steam room. Then you can take a taxi to Puerto ColĂłn, have an early dinner there, and take a stroll around the marina.
Golf morning, spa afternoon
When you meet again for lunch, you’ll book a massage at the spa, and afterward, you’ll enjoy the sauna and steam room. The kids can splash around in the children’s pool under light supervision. To wrap up the day, you’ll have a cocktail at sunset at the beach bar on Playa El Varadero.
Tenerife Top Training and active hours
On days when you want to be active, you can visit the “Tenerife Top Training” centre, near the hotel, and use the sports facilities, or get in a quick workout at the hotel’s fitness centre. Swim a few laps in the pool to cool off. In the afternoon, take a drive to the Los Gigantes Cliffs, enjoy the breathtaking views there, and then head back to the Costa Adeje to sample some tapas and local drinks.
Teide and the volcanic interior
Rent a car and head to Teide National Park. The road winds its way up through pine forests toward a lunar landscape characterized by lava fields and the volcano itself. Park at Roques de GarcĂa, take a stroll around the area, and enjoy lunch at the Parador hotel. Later in the day, you’ll head down to the Costa Adeje coast, where, not far from the hotel, you can take a refreshing dip in the ocean and enjoy dinner to recharge after a tiring trip.
Slow beach day and market browsing
This itinerary is perfect for a day at the beach. Visit “Playa de la Enramada” and “Playa El Varadero,” both just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. Along the way, enjoy a granizado and have a leisurely lunch on a shaded terrace. If the weather permits, take a stroll through La Caleta Market and look for local cheese or wine to take home as souvenirs. End the day relaxing by the pool and with a spa treatment.

Is the hotel suitable for children?
Yes. The hotel offers amenities for family holidays: there is a children’s pool next to the main pool, and the suites are laid out so that parents and children have their own separate areas. In addition, the nearby quiet Costa Adeje Beach is ideal for children who are just learning to swim.
When is the best time to visit Costa Adeje?
The southern part of the island of Tenerife is an attractive travel destination any time of year, but late October (when the hotel were there) is an especially good time to visit. Daytime temperatures are around 24–26 °C, the sea is warm, and there are fewer tourists than in the height of summer. It gets cool in the evening, so a light jacket is enough for dinner outdoors.
What is there to do on site besides the beach?
The facilities are very extensive. In addition to the swimming pool and children’s pool, there is a spa centre with massage rooms, a sauna, and a steam room, as well as a fitness area and a gym. On the coast, you can enjoy water sports such as diving and snorkeling. In addition, there is a golf course nearby where you can play a round of golf on sunny days.
Is parking available at the hotel?
Yes. Since there are free parking spaces on the airport grounds, you can rent a car right at the airport and take your time exploring Teide National Park, Los Gigantes, and the northern part of the island at your own pace.
How far is the beach from the hotel?
It’s right nearby. You can walk to Playa de la Enramada in just a few minutes, and Playa la Caleta and Playa El Varadero are also easily accessible along the boardwalk, so throughout the week you can enjoy different beaches as you please, without needing a car.
