Springfield House - Birmingham Airport & NEC is the nearest transit airport and is just a few minutes’ drive away, Springfield House is the ideal place for your first or last night’s stay before or after your flight.The Birmingham International train station is right next to the airport and the NEC exhibition centre; it can be reached by high-speed train from London Euston in about 70 minutes. A transfer can be arranged through the guesthouse.

Upon arrival at Birmingham Airport, take your pre-booked shuttle and check in at the Springfield House - Birmingham Airport & NEC. If you have your golf clubs with you, consider playing a 9-hole round at sunset at Belfry Golf Course, which is just a few minutes’ drive away. Otherwise, take a stroll through Coleshill, have lunch at a pub on Main Street, then relax with a glass of wine at the hotel bar and turn in early.

Over in Coleshill — home to Springfield House hotel — you'll find plenty of travellers passing through for the airport or the NEC exhibition centre.
Is Birmingham nicer than London?
It’s not so much the “best” city as it is a “different” one. Birmingham is smaller than London, the cost of living is lower here, and it’s easy to get around on foot. The total length of its canals exceeds that of Venice, and the city has a cozy atmosphere typical of the Midlands. As for the number of attractions and nightlife, London takes the lead. For a short holiday or a business trip to the NEC, Birmingham is probably the better choice.

Which is better, Manchester or Birmingham?
