The setting
This hotel is on the Faralya coast overlooking the Aegean Sea, about 5 km from the centre of the nearest town, and is surrounded by hills covered with pine forests that gently slope down to the sea. Since this is an “adults-only” hotel, it offers a peaceful atmosphere. Enjoy moments of tranquility on the lounge chairs, evenings on the terrace, and walks along the hiking trails through the mountain ranges. For guests wishing to go on excursions, local “dolmuş” minibuses run between Faralya, Oldenç, and Fethiye.
What to expect
Enjoy your stay at this 5-star adults-only hotel, where tranquility is the top priority. Spend the day by the pool, at the fitness centre, or at the hotel’s own diving club. Those looking for more active pursuits can also play table tennis or visit the gym. In the evening, you can unwind at the bar or restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. For guests arriving by car from Fethiye via the coastal road, parking spaces are available on the hotel grounds.
Things to do nearby
Belcekiz Beach is just a few minutes’ drive away and serves as a starting point for trips to Ölüdeniz and its famous lagoon—a long, crescent-shaped beach of sand and pebbles. Almost every afternoon, paragliders descend from Mount Babadag, located above the beach. The “The Lycian Way” hiking trail runs right nearby, and the observation deck in the Valley of the Butterflies is an easy half-day hike away.
Best for
It’s perfect for couples or friends who’ve just spent a week on the Aegean coast in an adults-only setting. Here you’ll find a peaceful, adults-only atmosphere, a relaxing daily routine by the pool, and a wide range of on-site sports activities, including diving, table tennis, and a gym—all of which you can enjoy between sunbathing sessions. In addition, it’s ideal for divers, who can take advantage of the hotel’s own diving club, as well as for hikers looking for easy access to the Lycian Way and the Valley of the Butterflies. Since children are not allowed to stay here, the hotel is not suitable for family holidays.
How to get to the hotel
Most visitors arrive at Dalaman Airport. This airport is about 60 km north along the coast, and the drive to Faralya takes about 75 minutes. You can also arrange a private transfer when you make your reservation. Another option is Antalya Airport. From there, it takes about four hours to drive south along the coastal highway. Fethiye is the nearest town where you can catch a dolmuş (minibus), and drivers can use the parking lots on the hotel grounds.

A week, loosely planned
Suggestions, not orders. Tour ideas to mix and match for your trip.
Arrival and first look at the coast
Upon arrival at Dalaman Airport, you’ll board a shuttle bus and head south along the coastal road toward Faralya. After checking in and unpacking your luggage in a relaxed setting, take a stroll on the terrace, enjoy the view of the Aegean Sea, and soak up the atmosphere of this place. Spend the la afternoon by the pool with a book and relax before dinner at the restaurant by the bar. Consider going to bed early so you’ll be ready for tomorrow’s activities.
Belcekiz Beach and Ölüdeniz
Let's go to Belcekiz Beach in the morning. This long, sandy beach stretches right outside the gates of Oldenja, and behind it are a row of cafes and landing areas for paragliders. Go for a swim, watch the paragliders descending from Baba-Dag Mountain, and then have lunch at one of the beachside restaurants. In the afternoon, head back to the hotel for another swim, and then spend a quiet evening on the terrace.
Butterfly Valley by boat
You’ll set out from Ölüdeniz on a small boat to the Butterfly Valley—a cove surrounded by steep cliffs, located below Faralya. After spending a few hours on the beach, you’ll head—if the trail is passable—to a waterfall located deep inland and take a dip in the water there, which is usually cleaner than anywhere else in the area. In the afternoon, return by boat, take a shower, and then enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Diving day
Use the on-site diving club for a morning out. Beginners can try a discovery dive in a sheltered bay, while certified divers get properly out along the reefs and drop-offs the Lycian coast is known for. Back for a late lunch, an easy afternoon by the pool, and a hot session in the gym or table tennis before dinner.
Lycian Way walking
Take a walk along a section of the Lycian Way near Faralya and follow the mountain ridge. The trail winds through a pine forest, passes by several overlooks, and finally descends to the sea. Along the way, you can stop at Kabak and have lunch at a small café. Once you’ve had your fill of the views, head back. This is a coastal walk, not a hike. End the day with a swim and a hearty dinner.
Fethiye harbour and market
Drive or take the dolmuş into Fethiye for the morning. Walk the harbour, look over the fishing boats, and if it's Tuesday, the town market is the one to catch for olives, spices and cheeses. Stop for a mezze lunch on the waterfront, then head back to Faralya for a swim before dinner. Quiet drinks at the bar afterwards.
Slow day on site
Give yourself a day that doesn't leave the property. Long breakfast, a proper pool session, a fitness class or gym visit, table tennis in the afternoon. Book a lounger with a view over the coast and let the day drift. Watch the sunset from the terrace with a drink, then take your time over dinner — this is what an adults-only week is for.

FAQ
Is this hotel suitable for children?
No. Liberty Hotels Lykia Adults Only is an adults-only property, so children can't stay. It's set up for couples and adult groups looking for a quiet week without family facilities, which is a big part of the atmosphere here.
When is the best time to visit Faralya?
You’ll be arriving in early August. At that time, it’s the height of summer on this coast, and a string of hot, dry days is expected. The sea is warm, and you’ll be able to enjoy long evenings on the terrace. Temperatures are expected to be around 30 °C. If you’re planning a trip, the climate will be milder in June or September, but in August you’ll be able to enjoy the typical summer weather of the Aegean Sea.
What is there to do on site besides the beach?
The hotel offers a wide range of amenities. The hotel features a pool, a fitness centre, a gym, and a ping-pong table. It also has a diving club open to both beginners and certified divers. In the evening, the bar and restaurant are at your service, and if you’d like to relax between activities, you can take advantage of free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
How close is the hotel to Belcekiz Beach and Ölüdeniz?
Belcekiz Beach sits around 2 km from the hotel, so it's a short drive or taxi hop into Ölüdeniz. You can easily do a morning at the beach and be back by the pool for lunch. Dolmuş minibuses run this route regularly through the summer.
Can non-divers use the diving club?
Yes. The on-site diving club runs discovery dives for complete beginners as well as guided dives for certified divers. It's one of the reasons couples pick this hotel — one of you can dive while the other reads by the pool, and you meet back up for lunch.
