Why we love it

The setting

The Beachfront Hotel is just a few steps from Marmaris’ public beach, and it’s only 7 metres from the hotel entrance to the shore. Since this is an adults-only hotel (guests must be 16 or older), it maintains a peaceful atmosphere even at the height of the summer season. It’s located so close to the city centre that you can easily walk to dinner, yet it’s quiet enough to spend your mornings relaxing by the pool. The rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi, and on days when you don’t feel like going far, you can enjoy the hotel’s bar and restaurant.

What to expect

A 6-night package with breakfast included. Guests can enjoy the pool for a quick swim during breaks, as well as the fitness centre for those who wish to continue their regular workouts. On evenings when you don’t feel like going into town, you can relax at the bar or restaurant, play darts or ping-pong with your friends or family.

Things to do nearby

The Marmaris public beach is right at the entrance (7 metres away), and the Marmaris city beach is just a few minutes’ walk away (216 metres). Families with older teenagers seem to prefer visiting the Atlantis Water Park (707 metres) or the Aqua Dream Water Park (1.2 kilometres). If you’d like to explore historical sites, the The Marmaris Amphitheatre is just 846 metres away. All of the area’s attractions are within walking distance.

Best for

Perfect for couples and groups of friends aged 16 and older who want to spend a week at the beach without young children. It’s a great choice for those who prefer to walk to the restaurant rather than drive, as well as for those who value a relaxing stay by the pool over a packed entertainment program.

How to get to the hotel

The nearest airport is Derman, which is about a 90-minute drive away. Travellers typically use a pre-booked shuttle or a shuttle bus, but taxis are also available. However, taxi fares are quite high. Some travellers planning day trips along the coast rent a car, but no transportation is needed to get to the hotel. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel lobby.

A week, loosely planned

Suggestions, not orders. Tour ideas to mix and match for your trip.

Day 1

Arrival and a slow look around

After checking in and dropping off your luggage, we’ll head to Marmaris’ public beach, located just 7 metres from the hotel, for a swim. Spend the afternoon, you can take a stroll along the beach to soak up the local atmosphere. Then return to the hotel, take a shower, and stop by the hotel bar before dinner. Have dinner tonight at the hotel restaurant. After a long day of travelling, you won’t have to search for a restaurant, and you can relax with a glass of wine while making plans for the rest of the week.

Day 2

Beach day, no agenda

This is the day you do almost nothing. Breakfast at the hotel, then claim a sun lounger and stay there. Swap between the pool and Marmaris City Beach (216 m) when the mood takes you. Late afternoon, walk a little further along the coast to see where the locals go. Back for sunset drinks at the bar, then dinner somewhere in town if you've got the energy.

Day 3

Water park detour

Atlantis Water Park is 707 metres from the hotel, an easy walk even in the heat. Spend a few hours on the slides and in the wave pool, then retreat for lunch and an afternoon nap. The pool back at the hotel will feel very civilised after a morning of queueing in flip-flops. Dinner somewhere with a view of the bay — you've earned it.

Day 4

A bit of history

Let’s take a walk to the Marmaris Amphitheatre (846 m) in the cool morning hours, before the sun gets too hot. Although it’s just a short walk, you’ll be able to enjoy a view that’s quite different from the one you see from the beach. On the way back, stop by a café for a leisurely lunch, and spend the rest of the afternoon by the pool. Be sure to stop by one of the seafood restaurants in the harbour tonight. Grilled fish in Marmaris is something special, and the walk back will be another highlight of the evening.

Day 5

Aqua Dream and a long lunch

Aqua Dream Water Park is 1.2 km from the hotel, which is a bit further than Atlantis, but if you want to try out some different slides, the walk there is definitely worth it. Head out early, return around noon, and spend the rest of the day relaxing by the hotel pool with a book. If you want to make up for the lack of physical activity during your vacation, you can also use the fitness centre. Since breakfast will likely take longer, it’s best to have dinner at the hotel restaurant tonight.

Day 6

Beach, properly this time

Your last full day, and the forecast in early July is reliably hot. Spend it on Marmaris Public Beach with not much more than a towel and some water. Wander into town for lunch, browse the bazaar streets in the late afternoon when shade returns, and pick somewhere you've walked past all week for dinner. End at the hotel bar — it's become familiar by now.

Day 7

One more swim, then home

After breakfast, why not go for one last swim? Depending on how far along you are with your packing, you can decide where you’d rather swim—in the pool or in the ocean. Check out of the hotel and drop your luggage off at the front desk if your flight isn’t until later, and take a final stroll along the beach. If there was something you wanted to buy earlier in the week, take this opportunity to pick it up. A refreshing drink at the bar before you leave will help ease the sudden change in mood during the trip home.

FAQ

Can children stay at this hotel?

No. Since our resort is exclusively for adults aged 16 and older, it is not suitable for families with young children. You are welcome to visit our resort if you are travelling with teenagers aged 16 and older; however, there are no special amenities for children on the premises. After all, the charm of our resort lies precisely in its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for adults.

Is early July a good time to visit Marmaris?

Yes, peak summer. Expect hot, dry days in the low 30s, warm sea temperatures and long evenings. It's busy, so the beach fills up by mid-morning and restaurants get booked. Start your beach day early, take a long break indoors at lunchtime, and you'll get the best of it.

What's included in the breakfast?

A free buffet breakfast is included daily and served at the hotel restaurant.

How close is the beach, really?

Seven metres from the hotel to Marmaris Public Beach — so the answer is: very. Marmaris City Beach is another 216 metres along. You can walk down in flip-flops without thinking about it, which is the main reason to book this place over somewhere further back from the water.
