How to get to the hotel
Alicante-Elche Airport is the main point of arrival and is about a 45-minute drive south on the AP-7 highway. An airport transfer can be arranged at the time of booking. Alternatively, you can take the ALSA bus from the airport to the Benidorm bus station and then take a taxi from there to the hotel (it’s a short distance). Spain spaces are available on the hotel grounds.

Arrival and the Levante seafront
Upon arrival in Alicante, take advantage of the airport pickup service and check in at the hotel. Beach day on Playa de Levante
Late breakfast at the hotel, you should head to Playa de Levante early to secure a spot. As evening approaches, take a stroll along the boardwalk, which is teeming with families and street performers, and round out the day with ice cream at “HeladerĂa” near the beach.
Old town tapas crawl
Take a short trip to Benidorm’s Old Town, “Casco Antiguo.” Here you’ll find a labyrinth of winding streets surrounding the “Balcón del Mediterráneo” observation deck. Enjoy a leisurely stroll in the morning, and in the evening, go on a food tour of the tapas bars. Try “patatas bravas” at one bar, “gambas” at the next, and treat yourself to a glass of vermouth somewhere along the way. The Old Town is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, and time passes more slowly here than on Playa de Levante.
Quiet cove at Cala del Tio Ximo
Let's head from this spacious beach to a smaller one. The beach “Cala del TĂo Simo,” located about a kilometre from the hotel, is a small rocky cove tucked away at the foot of a cliff—the crystal-clear water here is perfect for snorkeling. Bring a snorkel mask, some water, and a book. Head back to town along the coastal trail, enjoy lunch, and then spend the rest of the afternoon with the kids by the hotel pool before having an early dinner.
Show night at Benidorm Palace
Let's take advantage of this day to relax and unwind. You’ll spend the morning by the pool, play a game of table tennis if the kids get bored, and take a walk into town before lunch. It’s worth booking tickets in advance for the evening cabaret show at Benidorm Palace, which is right next to the hotel. They offer a package deal that includes dinner and a spectacular stage show. Let’s dress up a bit, and if the show ends late, you’ll take a taxi back so the kids can get a good night’s sleep tomorrow.
Day trip along the coast
How about taking a tram or bus along the coast to the north, to Altea, home to the old town with its white walls and a church with a blue dome, or south to Villajoyosa, where colourful fishermen’s cottages and the Barrol chocolate factory await you? Both routes can be comfortably explored in about half a day. Upon returning to Benidorm, you can first cool off by the hotel pool, and then, as the sun sets behind the cape, enjoy some grilled fish at a seaside restaurant.
Casino night and last swim
Spend the morning at the beach again, and in the afternoon head to Avenida del Mediterráneo to finally do the shopping you’ve been putting off for so long. After dinner, head to the “Mediterráneo” casino in Benidorm, which is just a few minutes’ walk away. How about spending an hour or so having fun with table games and slot machines with low stakes? Those who aren’t casino fans can enjoy a livelier evening at the nearby “Festilandia” or at one of the surrounding bars, bringing your trip to a fitting close.

What month is the cheapest to go to Benidorm?
From November through February, prices are generally at their lowest, with January often being the best month for savings. The winter climate isn’t hot enough for a beach holiday—it’s more mild—so it’s better suited for sightseeing and off-season relaxation than for sunbathers. If you want to enjoy the warm climate at a better price than during the height of the summer season, you should consider travelling in late September or October, which fits perfectly into your travel plans.
What's the nicest part of Benidorm?
Opinions are divided. In the Old Town, around the “Balcón del Mediterráneo,” located between Levante and Poniente beaches, the most beautiful streets and the best tapas bars are all clustered together. Playa de Levante is the area with the liveliest nightlife, while Poniente is quieter and has a more family-friendly atmosphere. Since the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the casino and Levante Beach, both areas of Benidorm are easily accessible.
Does Benidorm get very hot?
Maximum temperatures in the summer are usually in the lower 30s (Celsius), with July and August the being the hottest months. On the coast, the sea breeze tempers the heat, though solar radiation remains strong during the day. In mid-September, when this tour takes place, temperatures usually range from the mid- to high-20s, and since the water is also pleasantly warm, you’ll be able to enjoy a comfortable beach holiday without being exposed to the scorching heat of midsummer.
Which is better, Alicante or Benidorm?
They're are two different types of resorts. Alicante is a typical Spanish city with a castle, museums, and a marina, making it particularly well-suited for cultural experiences and short holidays. Benidorm, on the other hand, is designed as a beach resort and offers two spacious sandy beaches, a long promenade, and a wide variety of entertainment for the whole family and places to relax in the evening. For a week-long beach holiday with children, Benidorm is generally the more popular choice.
Is Benidorm good for tourists?

English is widely spoken here, transportation along the coast is well-organised, and there are plenty of attractions suitable for family holidays.
