The second belongs to cities. Rome, Prague and Seville settle into the low twenties, museum queues shorten, and a good room costs what a mediocre one did in July.
UK half-term lands in the last week of the month, so the Canaries, Egypt and Disneyland Paris fill first. Everything else stays open until about three weeks out.
