London combines centuries of history, world-famous museums such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, distinctive neighbourhoods, and a constant variety of events—all in a city that’s easy to explore on foot and has a well-developed Underground system. Even if you take a slight detour from Heathrow Airport, you can reach the city centre in less than an hour, and in half a day, you can see plenty of sights.
How many days do I need in London?
In three or four days, you’ll be able to take your time exploring the main sights, two or three museums, and one or two neighbourhoods. If you have a full week, you’ll have time for both day trips and evening activities. During a stay of this length, it’s enough to simply take the Piccadilly Line into the city centre for a couple of hours to get a brief sense of the atmosphere of this metropolis.

It depends on what you're looking for. London is a large city spread out over a vast area, offering numerous free museums, live music, and plenty of green spaces.
