How long is the promo code valid and what kind of saving does it give?
This promo code has no expiration date and entitles you to a fixed discount on the cost of your stay at the time of payment. If you enter the code when booking, the discount amount will be displayed next to the price.
Who is this hotel best suited to?
The hotel works well for drivers, families and weekend shoppers heading to Lakeside, and for travellers who want quick access into central London. Children can stay, and the on-site bar and Fogg's Restaurant mean you don't have to head out for dinner after a long drive.
When is the best time of year to visit this part of Essex?
Essex has a mild maritime climate. May to September brings the warmest, driest weather and long evenings for exploring the Thames-side towns. Spring and autumn are quieter and cooler, with changeable skies. Winters are chilly and often damp but rarely severe, and shopping trips to nearby Lakeside work year-round.
What is there to do at the hotel itself?
Fogg's Restaurant serves a global menu, and the bar is a relaxed spot for a drink in the evening. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout, there is free on-site parking, and pets are welcome. It is a practical base rather than a resort, so most sightseeing and shopping happens a short drive away.
