Why we love it
Malmaison Edinburgh sits in the old Leith harbour district, with a tram running nearby every ten minutes. The building was once a seamen’s mission, and the rooms keep a bold look with rich colours, leather armchairs and brick walls. This offer covers two nights for a couple, room only, so you can choose where to eat across the harbour. The Royal Yacht Britannia is a short walk away, and there is a bar and brasserie on the ground floor for after a day out.

Leith waterfront walk
Arrive in Leith and drop your bags before strolling down to the waterfront. The Royal Yacht Britannia is about 590 metres from the hotel, and the harbour has plenty of restaurants for dinner.
Central Edinburgh day
Take the tram into central Edinburgh for the day, then head back to Leith. Calton Hill and the Palace of Holyroodhouse are both worth a look for one last view of the city before you check out.
