The rooms are equipped with a Sweet Bed by ibis and can accommodate up to three people. They also feature air conditioning, a desk, a TV, and a bathroom with a shower. The Rendez-Vous bar, on the first floor, serves cocktails, coffee, wine, and beer. A selection of light meals, including hot and cold dishes, is also available 24 hours a day. Your 2 days, loosely planned
Suggestions, not orders. Tour ideas to mix and match for your trip.
Arrival, Casa de l'Aigua and a metro run into town
Drop off your luggage, take a walk to Casa de l’Aiguat, and explore the ruins of the former waterworks. From there, at the Santa Coloma metro station, take Line 1 or 9 toward central Barcelona and spend the rest of the day at Park Güell or the Sagrada Família. Return to the hotel and enjoy a cocktail at the “Rendez-vous” bar. If you get back late, order something from the 24-hour snack menu.
Shopping at La Maquinista and a Maresme beach afternoon
Start your day with a relaxing cup of coffee at the bar, then take a car or bus to the “La Maquinista” shopping centre, where you can take a leisurely stroll through the stores or grab a bite to eat in the food court. In the afternoon, you’ll head to the Maresme coast, about a 10-minute drive away, where you’ll stroll along the sandy beach and have a seafood lunch at a seaside restaurant, then return to the hotel to check out.

FAQ
How many days are enough for Barcelona?
In three or four days, you can visit the Sagrada Família, Park Güell, and the Gothic Quarter, and then spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach—without any hustle and bustle. If you want to spend the morning on Montjuïc or take a short trip to the Maresme coast, the hotel recommends setting aside a fifth day. It’s very easy to get to the city centre from this hotel via Metro lines 1 and 9, so even if you’re only staying for one night, you can enjoy some focused sightseeing.
What is the cheapest time to visit Barcelona?
With the exception of the peak season around Christmas and New Year’s, prices are generally most affordable from mid-November through February. In particular, the low season runs from late January through early February, and prices are lower during this time. Even during the off-season—in early March and late October—the weather is mild, so you can sit on the terrace, which is ideal for sticking to a budget.
What is the rainy season in Barcelona?
The rainiest period in Barcelona is usually from September through November, as well as around April and May. During this time, short, heavy downpours or thunderstorms can occur suddenly. Since it rarely rains all day, you’ll generally be well prepared if you bring an umbrella and remain flexible with your plans. Summers are typically dry, and winters here are drier than in many cities in Northern Europe.
Should I visit Barcelona in August?
If you enjoy the heat, long hours on the beach, and the Festa Major de Gràcia street festival, then August is the perfect time to visit. However, keep in mind that temperatures are around 28–30 °C, nights can be muggy, you should expect large crowds, and many small local shops and family-run restaurants are closed for holiday. It’s recommended to make reservations in advance and plan your day so that you can explore the sights in the morning and head to the beach in the afternoon.
Is it worth it to travel to Barcelona?
That's true. There’s hardly any other city where, in a single trip, you can so fully enjoy Gaudí’s architecture, the city’s Gothic charm, the Mediterranean beaches, delicious cuisine, and a well-developed public transportation network as you can in Barcelona. From this hotel, you can reach the main attractions by metro in just a few minutes, and in the evening, return to a quiet neighbourhood to relax—for many travellers, this is definitely worth the money.
