Market mornings and La Rambla
First, have a cup of coffee at a café on the complex grounds, and then take the metro to the city centre. Spend the morning, take a leisurely stroll through La Boqueria Market and buy some jamón, olives, and fresh fruit—authentic Catalan snacks. From there, you’ll stroll along La Rambla toward the harbour and wander into the side streets of the Gothic Quarter if anything interesting catches your eye. Late in the afternoon, you’ll return to the hotel, take a dip in the pool, and then have dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.
Zona Franca and a slower afternoon
Head back to the hotel to work up a sweat in the gym or take another dip in the pool, and in the evening, head out into the city to enjoy some tapas. If there’s an event taking place at the “If Fira” at that time, it’s only about a five-minute walk away. If not, enjoy one last leisurely stroll through the quiet streets of this neighbourhood.
