Iberostar Selection Sábila – Adults-only luxury stay

Right on the seafront in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, Iberostar Selection Sabila is an adults-only place built for couples after a bit of quiet. Low-rise and white-washed, it faces the Atlantic — terraces and pools all turned toward the water. Bobo Beach is about 220 metres away and Playa Puerto Colon is a few minutes further on foot. The southern end of Tenerife stays warm most of the year, so the outdoor spaces get plenty of use whatever month you visit.

You stay in a Double room of around 23 square metres with a full double bed, private bathroom, mini-bar and a balcony. Breakfast is included each morning. The hotel has a spa with treatment rooms, several pools edged with sun loungers, and a rooftop terrace looking out to sea. There are two restaurants on site, one with floor-to-ceiling windows over the water. Because it is adults-only, the pools and dining areas stay calm rather than busy with families.

The hotel works well as a base for the south of the island. Bobo Beach is the closest stretch of sand at 220 metres, with Playa Puerto Colon at 272 metres and La Pinta Beach at 435 metres. Megabowl is 261 metres away if you want an evening indoors. Loro Parque, the well-known animal park near Puerto de la Cruz, is about 39.7 kilometres north and makes a full day out by car or coach. The Puerto Colon marina nearby runs boat trips out to spot whales and dolphins off the coast.

This one suits couples who want a calm beachfront break with a spa, good food and no children around. The included breakfast and sea-facing pools make it an easy, low-effort five nights.
