Tikida Golf Palace: 4 nights in Luxury & Nature’s Serenity

Tikida Golf Palace sits beside the fairways of Golf du Soleil, on the Bensergao side of Agadir about 7.5 km from the city centre. The grounds are low-rise and spread out, built in a warm ochre Moorish style with arched walkways, courtyards and palm gardens. From the terraces you look straight out over the greens. It is a quiet spot, away from the busier seafront, which suits travellers who want golf and calm rather than a crowded beach strip.

The Junior Suite gives you around 60 square metres, with a separate sitting area and a private bathroom. The hotel has both an outdoor pool ringed by loungers and palms and an indoor spa pool, so you can swim whatever the weather. There are a couple of restaurants on site, including a terrace that overlooks the golf course, plus a bar and lounge for the evening. Agadir Al Massira Airport is only 2.3 km away, so transfers are short. The city centre is about 7.5 km on, where you will find Agadir Marina, the long sandy beach and Souk El Had, one of the largest markets in Morocco. The golf course is on the doorstep. Drivers can reach the Souss-Massa national park and the fishing town of Taghazout further along the coast for a day out.

This one is for couples and golfers who want space, a spa and quiet over a beachfront base. The suite size and the calm setting also work well for anyone after a slow, restful few days near, but not in, the centre of Agadir.
