Reethi Faru Resort sits on Filaidhoo, a private island in the Raa Atoll. The land is ringed by white sand and a shallow lagoon, with the open Indian Ocean a short walk past the reef. Palm groves cover most of the island, and the villas are spread along the beach so each one keeps a slice of the shore. There are no roads here. You move on foot or barefoot, and the pace stays slow from the moment the boat drops you off.

The beach villas keep a simple island look, with pitched timber ceilings, a wide bed and an outdoor bathroom open to the sky. Days fall into an easy rhythm. The infinity pool faces the lagoon, the spa runs massages and treatments, and a dive club takes guests out to the reefs nearby. The resort is its own destination, so most of your time is spent on the island and in the water around it. The house reef sits just off the beach for snorkelling, and the dive club runs trips to the wider Raa Atoll. The nearest village, Meedhoo, is about 4 km away across the water. Filaidhoo Island centre is on your doorstep, only metres from the villas. The closest airport for transfers is Ifuru, around 25.8 km away by boat and seaplane.
