How to get to the hotel

Agrigento is the perfect distance for a day trip, and it’s worth getting up early to visit this city. The “The Valley of the Temples” is undoubtedly the main attraction; therefore, it’s recommended to arrive there before the midday heat becomes too intense and to set aside about two hours for the tour. Before heading back, it’s worth having lunch in town. Once you return to the hotel, you can relax by the pool or on the beach, and then enjoy a cozy dinner at the resort’s restaurant.
Slow morning, active afternoon
After a busy day, it’s worth spending the morning in complete relaxation. A cozy breakfast, reading by the water, and a swim will do your body and soul much more good than yet another tour. In the afternoon, you can take a slightly longer walk along the coast or, if bikes are available for rent, go for a bike ride. What is the rainy season in Sicily?
The rainiest period in Sicily lasts from October through February, with November often being the rainiest month. Rain tends to come in short, heavy downpours rather than as a gentle drizzle throughout the day, and the sky clears up again quickly. Since a trip in September, as in this case, falls before the actual rainy season begins, you can expect warm and mostly dry days, although brief showers may occur from time to time in the second half of the month.

Can you wear jeans in Sicily?

In churches and upscale restaurants, it’s perfectly acceptable to wear jeans paired with neat outerwear. However, indoors, you should avoid overly ragged clothing or beachwear.
What should you be careful of in Sicily?
Sicily is generally a safe place, but in crowded areas, such as the train stations in Palermo and Catania, you should keep a close eye on your valuables and lock your car doors when parking. Since the streets are narrow and drivers often drive recklessly, you should exercise caution while driving. In late summer, even in September, the sun can be very strong. Apply sunscreen, drink plenty of fluids, and check for jellyfish warnings posted on the beach before going for a swim.
