The setting
This hotel is in the residential neighbourhood of Clichy in the Paris metropolitan area, about one kilometre from the city centre and a few minutes’ walk from the newly built Cité Judiciaire complex. The hotel charms guests with its modern atmosphere, created by armchairs upholstered in deep blue and emerald green velvet, natural oak furniture, and the soft glow of Le Deun chandeliers. In addition, the Batignolles Cemetery and the streets surrounding the Clichy City Hall are within easy walking distance.
What to expect
The hotel features 82 rooms and 12 Parisian-style suites, all of which have been recently renovated and have received the Green Key certification. The main attraction of this complex is its wellness facilities, which include an indoor pool, a hot tub, a sauna, a fitness centre, and massage rooms. The hotel has a bar where you can enjoy a drink in a relaxed atmosphere, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Parking spaces are also available for guests arriving by car.
Things to do nearby
The Batignolles Cemetery is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel’s main entrance, and the High Court of Paris (Cité judiciaire) is also located nearby. Those who want to go swimming outside the hotel can walk to the Gérard Durant Municipal Pool (Piscine Municipale Gerard Durant). The green Parc Clichy-Batignolles (Martin-Luther-King) is a short walk away, but if you’re looking for something unusual, the nearby dog cemetery is also worth a visit.

It’s perfect for couples who want to spend a relaxing weekend in Paris while fully enjoying the pool, sauna, and hot tub. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a quiet spot away from the tourist crowds, yet with convenient access to central Paris, as well as for guests arriving by car who need parking. Since there’s also a game room on the premises, the hotel’re happy to welcome families.
How to get to the hotel
Paris Charles de Gaulle is about a 25- to 30-minute drive to the northeast, provided there is no traffic. Orly Airport is about a 45-minute drive to the south. If you’re arriving by train at Gare du Nord or Gare Saint-Lazare, the taxi ride will take about 10–15 minutes. Since Clichy is on Metro Line 13, guests coming from central Paris can get off at the Mairie de Clichy station and walk the rest of the way.

Your 3 days, loosely planned
Suggestions, not orders. Tour ideas to mix and match for your trip.
Arrival, Clichy streets and a swim
Check your luggage and take a stroll around the Clichy City Hall to look around and get to know the neighbourhood. You also recommend grabbing a coffee at the café on the corner. Walk past the Batignolles Cemetery, then turn around and enjoy a leisurely stroll in the shade of the plane trees. When you return to the hotel, book a treatment at the spa or head straight to the indoor pool or hot tub. Enjoy dinner at a bistro on Rue Martre, and in the evening, treat yourself to a nightcap at the hotel bar.
Central Paris on the Metro
Walk to the “Mairie de Clichy” station, take Line 13 toward the city centre, and spend the whole day enjoying the sights. In the morning, take a stroll along the Seine and through the Louvre’s inner courtyard, then cross to the left bank of the Seine and have lunch at a brasserie. In the afternoon, it’s better to choose one museum and explore it at your own pace than to rush through three different places. Return to Clichy in the early evening and find time to visit the sauna before dinner.
Parks, pool and slow checkout
Walk over to Parc Clichy-Batignolles - Martin-Luther-King with a pastry in hand and take the long way around the water features. Curious types can detour past the Dog Cemetery afterwards. Come back for one last swim and a jacuzzi soak before packing up. If your train or flight is late, leave the car in the hotel car park and squeeze in lunch at a nearby bistro.

FAQ
What is the best month to go to Paris?
June and September are the perfect times to travel. The days are long, the café terraces are bustling with activity, and there are fewer people than during the peak season from July through July-August. October, when the hotel’re taking the trip, is also a wonderful time of year. The air is cool and crisp, the leaves in the parks are taking on autumnal hues, the lines at art museums are getting shorter, and since the summer high season is already behind the hotel, hotel prices are dropping again. It’s a good idea to bring a warm jacket for the evenings.
What is the cheapest time to visit Paris?
From January through early March, this is generally the best time to travel, as the rush following the New Year’s holidays dies down. Prices for airline tickets, Eurostar train tickets, and hotel stays drop, and museums see significantly fewer visitors. Late November, before the hustle and bustle of the Christmas markets begins, is also a good time for budget travel. It’s best to avoid Fashion Week and major exhibitions, which cause prices in central Paris to spike.
Is $1000 enough for a week in Paris?
It’s possible, but it requires self-control. Travellers who budget about $1,000 a week usually choose a hotel in a neighbourhood slightly off the city centre (for example, Clichy works well for this), take the metro instead of a taxi, eat at a bakery or bistro at least once a day, and don’t visit every art gallery and museum—instead, they choose two or three that charge admission. If you want to drink wine with dinner every evening, you should increase your budget accordingly.
Is Paris still worth going to?
Yes. The main reasons people visit Paris—museums, gastronomy, architecture, and walks along the Seine—have not changed, and since 2024, the banks of the Seine, as well as the areas surrounding the main attractions, have continued to be improved. If you’re staying in Clichy, a little way from the city centre, you can take Line 13, which provides convenient access to the sights, while still enjoying a quieter place to stay and the authentic atmosphere of the neighbourhood.
Which is more beautiful, London or Paris?
It depends what you like. Paris is more visually unified: Haussmann boulevards, wrought-iron balconies, cream stone and the Seine tying it all together. London is a mix of eras, greener with its parks and more varied street by street. For classic postcard beauty most travellers give the edge to Paris; for character and change of scene, London.
