Why we love it
The setting
Disney's Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel sits at the edge of Disney Village in Marne-la-Vallee, about 30 minutes east of central Paris. The building takes its cue from Manhattan, with bold red and grey lines and a manicured lawn out front. Inside, the Marvel theme runs through the public spaces: a wall of original comic covers, an Avengers-styled bar and statues of Iron Man near the entrance. Disney Village is right next door, and the two parks are a short walk away.
What to expect
Rooms carry the same comic-book styling, with framed Marvel artwork, a deep palette and large windows looking over the grounds. The hotel keeps an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a fitness room, plus a spa area with a sauna. There is a dedicated kids' zone where children can draw their own superheroes. Breakfast is not part of this rate but can be added when you book. Skyline Bar pours drinks under a screen that mimics a night-time New York view.
Things to do nearby
Disney Village is 296 m away, lined with restaurants, shops and an evening crowd. Walt Disney Studios Park is about 718 m on foot, and Disneyland Paris itself is roughly 825 m, so you can walk to the gates rather than drive. Aquatonic Paris Val d'Europe, a water-based fitness centre, is around 2 km out. The Val d'Europe shopping centre and its aquarium are a short hop by car or shuttle.
Best for
Families and Marvel fans who want to wake up minutes from the Disney parks. Couples after a themed stay with pools and a spa will find it works too, and the walkable distance to the gates suits anyone who would rather skip the car.
