About the hotel
Scandic Sydhavnen sits in Copenhagen's Sydhavnen district, roughly 4 km from the city centre and within reach of Enghave Plads. The building has a sauna, a fitness centre and its own bar-restaurant for late arrivals. Copenhagen Zoo and Frederiksberg Gardens are a short ride away, both good half-day options after a morning of city walking. It suits families using the children's playground and kids club, and city breakers who want a quieter base.
How to get to the hotel
Copenhagen Airport is about 20 minutes by car or a short metro and bus hop, with Copenhagen Central Station roughly 3 km away for guests arriving by train. Drivers can use the hotel's on-site parking. Buses run into the centre in around 15 minutes, and the harbour bus is a scenic alternative for reaching the old town.

Select your stay dates, proceed to checkout and enter the promo code in the appropriate field before completing your payment. Is Scandic Sydhavnen a good pick for families?
Yes. The hotel has a children's playground and a kids club, so younger guests have somewhere to burn off energy after a day around the city. Copenhagen Zoo is a short ride away, and Frederiksberg Gardens works for a relaxed afternoon out with kids in tow.
When is the best time to visit Copenhagen?
Copenhagen has mild summers with long daylight hours, ideal for cycling and canal walks, and cold winters that bring Christmas markets and cosy cafés. Spring and autumn are quieter, with fewer crowds at the main sights. Rain can fall in any month, so a light waterproof is sensible year-round.
What is there to do on site?
Guests can use the fitness centre and gym, warm up in the sauna, and stop by the bar or restaurant for a drink and a bite. Free Wi-Fi covers the property, and parking is available for anyone arriving by car. It is a calm base for downtime between sightseeing trips into the centre.
