Why we love it

The setting

This hotel is in Ayia Napa, about 2 km from the city centre and just a few minutes' walk from Glyki Nero Beach. The streets around the hotel are perfect for strolling, and the harbour and sculpture park are within walking distance. During the day, you can enjoy the relaxing seaside atmosphere, and the lively bars and restaurants of Ayia Napa are easily accessible by taxi.

What to expect

A 4-star family hotel with a swimming pool, fitness centre, spa area with sauna and steam room, plus a bar, restaurant and café on site. Kids get their own playroom, playground, pool and club. Rooms come with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, and there's free parking if you're driving. Breakfast is included with the booked rate.

Things to do nearby

Glyki Nero Beach is right next to the hotel, you can enjoy a comfortable swim in the sea first thing in the morning. The Bridge of Love and Ayia Napa’s sculpture park are just a few minutes’ walk along the coast, and if you’d like to mix things up and enjoy a sandy beach, the hotel also highly recommend visiting the nearby Amos Kambouri Beach. In addition, Ayia Napa Harbour, with its fishing boats and seaside taverns, is within walking distance, making it the perfect spot for an evening stroll.

Best for

Families looking for a beach base in Ayia Napa with pool time, a kids club and easy walks to more than one stretch of sand. Couples who want a swim, a sauna and a harbour dinner will also do well here. Less suited to guests wanting a remote, quiet countryside stay — this is a resort town with plenty of life on the doorstep.

How to get to the hotel

The nearest airport is Larnaca International Airport; the drive east to Ayia Napa takes about 45 minutes. When making your reservation, you can book a private or shared transfer. The drive to Paphos Airport takes about two hours, so it takes a little longer. Since there are no railroads in Cyprus, guests without their own car should use an airport shuttle, a taxi, or an intercity bus from Larnaca.

A week, loosely planned

Suggestions, not orders. Tour ideas to mix and match for your trip.

Day 1

Arrival and first swim at Glyki Nero

Check in, drop the bags and walk the short path down to Glyki Nero Beach for a first dip in the clear water. Spend the afternoon by the pool while the kids try the children's pool and playground. As the sun drops, wander along the coast towards Love Bridge for photos, then head back for dinner at the hotel restaurant and an easy first night.

Day 2

Harbour mornings and old-town evenings

Take the coastal walk into Ayia Napa Harbour and watch the fishing boats come in. Grab a coffee at a waterfront café and browse the small shops nearby. Back at the hotel, the kids can join the club while you try the sauna or steam bath. In the evening, return to the harbour for grilled fish at one of the tavernas lining the quay.

Day 3

Sculpture park and a slow beach day

Let’s take a walk in the cool morning hours to the “Ai-Napa” Sculpture park Aia-Napa. Among the open-air sculptures scattered across a headland covered in lush greenery, the kids can run around to their hearts’ content. Afterwards, you can relax at “Glyki Nero Beach,” put on your snorkeling gear, and spend a leisurely day at the beach. Toward evening, you can play tennis on the hotel’s own courts or enjoy a game of table tennis, followed by a relaxed dinner at the hotel café.

Day 4

Water sports and diving day

Devote the day to what's on offer at the water: try snorkelling from the beach, book a diving session or hire kit for other water sports available in the area. Rinse off in the pool afterwards and let the kids loose in the playroom while you claim a sunlounger. Cross Love Bridge at golden hour for the classic Ayia Napa sunset shot before dinner.

Day 5

Amos Kambouri and lazy afternoons

If you decide to switch beaches and take a walk to Amos Kambouri Beach, you’ll be able to enjoy a beach with finer sand and a completely different view. Bring a snack with you or stop by one of the beach cafes for lunch. Return to the hotel and treat yourself to some relaxation at the spa, with massages, a sauna, and a steam room. Meanwhile, older children can take part in the kids’ club activities. To round out the day, have pizza for dinner at the hotel restaurant, and when you’ve had enough sun, turn in early.

Day 6

Fitness morning and family pool time

Work out at the fitness club before the sun gets too hot, and then meet up with your family by the pool. Order lunch by the pool and enjoy a relaxing day. When the shadows grow longer, take another stroll to the harbour and watch the boats while enjoying some ice cream. Book a table for dinner at a restaurant you haven’t tried yet, or stay at the hotel and enjoy the evening atmosphere at the bar.

Day 7

Boat trip from Ayia Napa Harbour

Early in the morning, head to the port of Ayia Napa Harbour and board a boat for a coastal cruise, which sets sail directly from the pier. Many boats stop at secluded coves along the way, giving you the chance to go for a swim. Don’t forget to bring a swim cap, snorkeling gear, and plenty of water. When you return to shore in the late afternoon, cool off in the hotel pool, let the kids finish the day at the playground, and then enjoy a cozy dinner at the port.
